Our second vinyl campaign!!
WOW! It's happening! Vinyl is really HAPPENING!!! Thank you so much for making this possible. Jack and I have spent the last four years working on this record. It's called "Invisible People," and you have until Halloween to pre-order it (not because it's a Halloween album...it's just a regular non-spooky album for the most part).
About "Invisible People" -
Between 2017 and 2020 we recorded 40 original songs and put the best eleven on this album. Or was it the best eight and the worst three? I can't remember. Anyhoo, I wrote the songs. We worked with our favorite musicians in LA to record them. Then Jack produced and mixed everything back at our home studio (and by that I mean that he played a bunch of instruments, designed sweet synths and got dangerously granular with sound design).
If you're familiar with Pomplamoose, you know that we usually record and release things really quickly. So we've never made anything like "Invisible People." We've never poured our time and love into an album like we did with this one. And we're so so happy with how it turned out. We don't totally hate it, even though we've been working on it forever!
About the Vinyl -
If you're a vinyl fanatic, you'll be pleased to know that this album sounds "sick" on vinyl (and is 180g for quality and durability). Six songs on Side A, five on Side B, for a total listening experience of thirty-seven minutes and sixteen seconds (not including the time it takes you to flip it over and make yourself another drink).
About when you'll get the thing -
We will be pressing these ASAP. Our goal is to have them in your hands on or before December 3rd (which is when the album comes out). Shipping can be a bummer with everything going on in the world, but we'll do our best to get these to you pronto.
