Snæks' Debut Limited Edition Album on 12" 33 RPM LP (100 Copies)

Angel Huerta, also known as his moniker Snæks, is an electronic producer based in the Bay Area of California who handles all aspects of his creative direction.

Snæks released his first project, the Hallucinogen mixtape, in 2014, which was his first attempt at producing music. He made a total of 10 tracks for the project. One track in particular, ‘Hymn’, which sampled vocals from a Russian Orthodox Church, gained mild popularity.

In 2016, Snæks dropped his second project, Skin, which was later scrapped. ‘white heat’ was featured on this project.

Now, in 2018, Snæks just released his debut album Elias. These 12 tracks were created over the past 4 years. His first collaboration features a good friend of his, Lost Child, who is gearing up to release his first song in June. ‘mourn’ was one of the last songs to be made for 'no death' in January 2018. It was made in about 7 hours using just their voices.

‘drowning’ is the lead single from Elias, which tells a story of loss from oneself. “It’s not a physical form of drowning, but more like sinking further away from yourself, your state of being.” ‘hubris’, which is the second single, is a more up-beat Frank Ocean inspired track. “I was inspired by the second half Frank’s song ‘In Here Somewhere’. The progression of the track is so far ahead of it’s time. I was inspired by Endless in so many ways while making this project. Frank is one of my biggest inspirations.”

If 'no death' completes it's crowdfunding, the album will be pressed on a half clear orange, half black record. 'no death' is limited to 100 copies.
