A landmark in speedcore, The Quick Brown Fox's (TQBF) "Wanderlust", released in 2012, defied just about every expectation of the genre and helped redefine what the TQBF project was to be. No longer a mere explosion of crude sound and musical gags, Wanderlust exploits the inherent fragility of percussion sequencing riding the very edge of stability and coherence to create a more intimate, heartfelt, and ultimately hypomanic mood.
Having influenced artists such as Goreshit and Kobaryo, Wanderlust has made global ripples when it comes expanding speedcore's vocabulary. It's long overdue for a release on the 12" format it was built around.
This is a 12" 45rpm transparent purple record. Please, be sure to read the side bar. This is a crowdfund. Once the funding period ends and the goal is met, the record will go into production, which takes several weeks, before finally being shipped to you.
