KUURANDIA is the first EP by Tokyo based tribal/oriental dreamy psych band KUUNATIC. KUURANDIA integrates traditional Japanese music, Latin music, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, dub music, horror film soundtracks and expresses their outlandish world.
The EP explores primitive drumming, pulsing bass lines, atmospheric keyboard sounds with Japanese local instruments. Topped with vocals from the whole trio, Kuurandia takes listeners on a trip to Kuunatic's ritual translunary land.

KUUNATIC released their first single, “Roho Ulio Toweka”, as a split 7” with Taiwanese fuzz psych band CROCODELIA in August 2018 and later toured Taiwan in January 2019. During the summer they also toured in the UK for the third time, later expanding the tour to Sweden, Norway, Belgium and San Marino. Their Stockholm live show was reviewed in one of the biggest Swedish daily newspapers, DAGENS NYHETER, and attracted significant public attention.
Their song “Dewbow” was also released from French label Akuphone in June 2019, on the "青鞜 SEITO” compilation featuring 7 Japanese female artists.
