DaGeneral & Bageera are entering the illusive world of vinyl through Rondo/General Surgery on what can only be described as huge release. They are joined on this EP by remixers Steve Mulder and Graham Gold, who I’m sure need no introduction both legends in their own right.
Title track "All about the groove" does what it say's using an infectious disco loop over some jackin techno beats, that groove along reminiscent of early Daft punk works, Graham Gold is 1st up on remix duties of "All about the groove" where he gives it old skool hypnotic vibe lacerated with acid squelches, that'll work well on any dancefloor.
B-Side is “Dance with you” uses a deep vocal over some progressive beat assuring this will rock dancefloors the world over. Last up is Steve Mulders remix of "Dance with you" which Steve focuses on the string part and dark bass over Steve's now legendary techno beats, another huge remix.
Overall a huge release that harks back to days gone by, whilst still firmly keeping up to date in terms of production. Expect to hear this EP in many top Dj's playlist's in the not too distant future.
